The City of Carson's Tobacco Retailer's Permit Program was created to encourage responsible tobacco retailing and to discourage violations of tobacco-related laws that prohibit the sale or distribution of tobacco products to minors and prohibit the display of tobacco products from being within reach of the public. A valid city business license and tobacco permit must be obtained before any tobacco related retailing activity can commence.
