The City of Carson Early Childhood Program curriculum is based on Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines developedby the State of California Department of Education.  Emphasis is on learning through "hands-on" experiences. 

Projects and activities address a wide variety of school readiness, social and motor skills.  Children have opportunites for creative expression thruogh art, music and movement activities.

The Early Childhood Program office is located at the Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center.  Registration is open as long as vacancies exists.  Priority registration given to students currently enrolled.  For more information please call (310) 835-0212, ext. 1482 or 1485.

The Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center is home to an all-day, Monday-Friday Early Childhood Education Program.

This program features an early drop-off and late pick-up option.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

HALF DAY PROGRAM TIMES:

Tuesday & Thurday                    8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or  1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday      8:00 a.m.  - 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
