ITEM NO. (4)                        DISBURSEMENT OF UNCLAIMED FUNDS (CITY TREASURER)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

1.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Treasurer to process a disbursement as follows:

2.                  $10,270.00 to Donald Martin Serimian, 10463 S. Del Rey Avenue, Selma, California 93662 for redemption of Carson Redevelopment Agency, Project Area No. 2 Tax Allocation Refunding Bond 1975, Coupon Nos. 23-35 of Bond Nos. 2091-2094.

ACTION:

ITEM NO. (5)                        REQUEST BY ADVANCED MACHINE STRETCHFORM INTERNATIONAL (AMSI) TO AMEND LOAN DOCUMENTS BETWEEN THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND AMSI (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  APPROVE the request by Advanced Machine Stretchform International (AMSI) to amend loan agreements between the Carson Redevelopment Agency and AMSI.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Attorney, with direction from the Executive Director, to prepare the necessary documentation, similar to the draft documents entitled "First Amendment to Community Development Block Grant Float Loan Agreement and Related Documents" and "Consent and Waiver" (Exhibit Nos. 2 & 3) submitted on behalf of AMSI and Stephen C. and Terry D. Brown, Trustees of the Stephen C. and Terry D. Brown Living Trust dated April 21, 2003.

3.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Executive Director to sign all final documentation necessary for the requested amendment as approved by the Agency Attorney.

ITEM NO. (6)                        CONSIDERATION OF EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LYNWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR USE OF A PORTION OF AGENCY-OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 2403 EAST 223RD STREET IN THE MERGED AND AMENDED PROJECT AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF TEMPORARILY STORING MOBILE TRAILER CLASSROOMS (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  AUTHORIZE the Executive Director to execute a License Agreement between the LUSD and the Carson Redevelopment Agency to allow the LUSD access to Agency-owned property for the purpose of temporarily storing mobile trailer classrooms.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Executive Director to sign the license agreement after approval as to form by the Agency Counsel
