Chairman/Mayor requests the audience to fill out Speaker Forms to indicate those items on which they want to speak, and turn them into the City Clerk/Agency Secretary at the beginning of the meeting, in order to be recognized by the Chairman/Mayor.  Agenda arranged so that speakers may be heard early.  Agency/Council to indicate items to be pulled.

ITEM NO. (3)                      REQUEST TO ENTER INTO AN EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATING AGREEMENT WITH BURNS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2403 EAST 223RD STREET (PROJECT AREA 1) (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  APPROVE the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement between the Carson Redevelopment Agency and Burns Development Company.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Chairman to execute the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement after approval as to form by Agency Counsel.

ACTION:

ITEM NO. (4)                      REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATING AGREEMENT WITH TERMINAL CAR LEASING, INC. (DBA DON KOTT LEASING) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 640 - 644E. 213TH STREET, AND 21313 AVALON BLVD. (PROJECT AREA 1) (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  APPROVE the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement between the Carson Redevelopment Agency and Terminal Car Leasing, Inc.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Chairman to execute the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement after approval as to form by Agency Counsel.

ACTION:

ITEM NO. (5)                      CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT WITH EL CAPITAN ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR REMEDIATION OF THE AGENCY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF SHEARER AVENUE AND GARDNER STREET - THE MERGED AND AMENDED AREA (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  AWARD a contract to El Capitan Environmental Services for clean-up of the Shearer Gardner property.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Chairman to execute the agreement following approval as to form by the Agency Counsel.
