RECOMMENDATION

TAKE
the following actions:
1.
APPROVE
the recommendation of the Public Works Commission and the Traffic Engineer to
install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and
Tillman Avenue.
2.
APPROPRIATE
$200,000.00 from the unreserved, undesignated Redevelopment Project Area No. 1
fund balance to cover the cost of Project No. 1273: Traffic Signal Installation at the
intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Tillman Avenue.
3.
AUTHORIZE
staff to prepare and advertise "Request for Proposal" to prepare
Plans, Specifications and Estimates - Project No. 1273: Traffic Signal Installation at the
intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Tillman Avenue.

TAKE
the following actions:
1.
APPROVE
Design Overlay Review No. 965-06, subject to the conditions of approval
attached as Exhibit "B" to the Resolution (Exhibit No. 2).

the Consultant agreement in the amount of $60,000.00 between Paragon Partners,
Ltd., and the Carson Redevelopment Agency.

the Agency Chairman to execute the Consultant agreement between Paragon
Partners, Ltd., and the Agency after approval as to form by Agency Counsel.

the Agency Chairman to execute the aforementioned Amended and Restated
Disposition and Development Agreement after it has been approved as to form by
Agency Counsel.
