staff to research, analyze and provide recommendations regarding parking of
oversized vehicles on city streets, to include but not be limited to, how to
establish limits and investigate options to provide locations for parking of
oversized vehicles within the city of Carson.

staff to negotiate an agreement, in an amount not to exceed $36,000.00, with a
lobbyist who is currently engaged in legislative representation in support of
Assembly Bill No. 1542 and Senate Bill No. 900 regarding mobilehome parks.

the Mayor to execute the agreement following approval as to form by the City
Attorney.
3.
APPROPRIATE
$36,000.00 from the unreserved, undesignated general fund balance to cover the
cost of the agreement.

Resolution No. 07-047 (Exhibit No. 1) calling for a Special Election which may
be held no less than 88 days from the date of calling the election, to change
