Chairman/Mayor requests the audience to fill out Speaker Forms to indicate those items on which they want to speak, and turn them into the City Clerk/Agency Secretary at the beginning of the meeting, in order to be recognized by the Chairman/Mayor.  Agenda arranged so that speakers may be heard early.  Agency/Council to indicate items to be pulled.

ITEM NO. (4)                        ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 542 EAST CARSON STREET, ASSESSORS PARCEL NUMBER 7332-010-022 (PROJECT AREA NO. 1)  (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  APPROVE the acquisition of 542 East Carson Street.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Chairman to execute the Agreement for Purchase and Sale following approval as to form by Agency Counsel.

ACTION:

ITEM NO. (5)                        AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR DEMOLITION AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 21009 SOUTH PROSPECT AVENUE, CARSON, CALIFORNIA  (REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO. 4)  (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  AWARD the 21009 South Prospect Avenue Demolition Project contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Interior Demolition Inc. of Tujunga, California, in the amount of $17,200.00.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Chairman to execute the contract following approval as to form by the Agency Counsel.

ITEM NO. (6)                        AUTHORIZATION FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES GENERAL MANAGER TO EXPEND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FUNDS PENDING ADOPTION OF THE FY 2007/08 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET, RESOLUTION NO. 07-57  (ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

1.                  WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 07-57, "A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, GIVING THE ADMINISTRATIVE SEDRVICES GENERAL MANAGER LIMITED AND TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO EXPEND FUNDS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, SUBJECT TO THE AGENCY'S APPROVAL OF THE DEMAND REGISTER, AS REQUIRED BY LAW, PENDING ADOPTION OF THE FY 2007/08 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET."
