APPROVAL OF REGULAR BUSINESS AGENDA:

Chairman/Mayor requests the audience to fill out Speaker Forms to indicate those items on which they want to speak, and turn them into the City Clerk/Agency Secretary at the beginning of the meeting, in order to be recognized by the Chairman/Mayor.  Agenda arranged so that speakers may be heard early.  Agency/Council to indicate items to be pulled.

Public testimony may be given on any agenda item as it is called and will be LIMITED TO THREE MINUTES PER SPEAKER.  Please fill out a Speaker Form in order to be identified correctly in the minutes.  The forms are provided on the podium in the Council Chambers.  All Speaker Forms must be turned in to the City Clerk/Agency Secretary at the beginning of the meeting.

ITEM NO. (2)                      RESOLUTION NO. 08-01:  DESIGN OVERLAY REVIEW NO. 973-06 TO CONSTRUCT A 4,768 SQUARE-FOOT TWO-STORY OFFICE ADDITION AND A 1,297 SQUARE-FOOT ONE-STORY TIRE STORAGE ADDITION TO AN EXISTING TRUCK LEASING BUILDING LOCATED AT 19646 SOUTH FIGUEROA STREET  (DEVELOPMENT SERVICES)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  APPROVE Design Overlay Review No. 973-06 subject to the conditions of approval attached as Exhibit "B" to the Resolution.

2.                  WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 08-01 "A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DESIGN OVERLAY REVIEW NO. 973-06." (Exhibit No. 3)

ACTION:

ITEM NO. (3)                      CONSIDERATION OF AWARD OF A CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FENCING BETWEEN VINYL CONCEPTS AND CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR SIX AGENCY-OWNED PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT)

RECOMMENDATION for the Redevelopment Agency:

TAKE the following actions:

1.                  AWARD the Contract Services Agreement for vinyl fencing to the lowest responsive bidder, Vinyl Concepts, in the amount of $39,428.80.

2.                  AUTHORIZE the Agency Chairman to execute said Contract Services Agreement following approval as to form by the Agency Counsel.
