WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 11-127, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AND DECLARING THE POLICY OF THE CITY OF CARSON TO REQUIRE THE IDENTIFICATION, SOLICITATION, AND INVITATION OF CARSON-BASED ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING, SURVEYING AND OTHER TECHNICAL PROFESSONALS TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS, EITHER INDIVIDUALLY OR IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS, IN RESPONSE TO VARIOUS NOTICES INVITING PROPOSALS FOR CERTAIN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND OTHER PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS ISSUED BY THE CITY OF CARSON."

1. ACCEPT the donations received in August 2011 in the amount of $5,550.00.
2. APPROVE an increase in the FY 2011/12 General Fund revenue budget by $5,550.00.
3. APPROPRIATE the $5,550.00 to the FY 2011/12 expenditure budget in the account numbers listed in Exhibit No. 1.
4. APPROVE the transfer of $2,919.81 of unused funds in the Juneteenth account to the Jazz Festival account.

1.
