the Council. Any person wishing

1. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 13-065, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE GREATER LOS ANGELES COUNTY VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD TO UNDERTAKE EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH TO CARSON RESIDENTS ON HOW TO MINIMIZE AND PREVENT THE RISKS OF THE WEST NILE VIRUS."
2. DIRECT staff to transmit an executed copy of the resolution to Senator Ted Lieu, Senator Rod Wright, Assemblymember Isadore Hall, County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and the Board of Trustees for the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District.

2. DIRECT staff to forward a copy of this resolution to the entire California Congressional delegation for consideration and action.

TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE a two-year extension of the professional services agreement with Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates (HdL) to provide sales, use and tax audits and information services, in the estimated amount of $195,000.00 per year, beginning July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2015.
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the extension of the agreement following approval as to form by the City Attorney (Exhibit No. 3).

1. APPROVE an award of service contract to PML Company for the four (4) issues of the Community Services Guide and Carson Report combination flip book and mailing preparation for an estimated cost of $27,900.00, after accounting for 5% discount.

1. ACCEPT grant funds in the amount of $13,500.00 from the South Bay Center for Counseling.
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Family Support Program contract following approval as to form by the City Attorney.

ITEM NO. (11) CONSIDER APPROVING RESOLUTION NO. 13-061 RECOGNIZING THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT OF 1965 (COMMUNITY SERVICES)
RECOMMENDATION for the City Council:
TAKE the following actions:
1. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 13-061, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, RECOGNIZING JULY 14, 2013, AS THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT OF 1965."
2. DIRECT staff to transmit an executed copy of the resolution to Congresswoman Janice Hahn, Senator Barbara Boxer, and Senator Dianne Feinstein.

RECOMMENDATION for the City Council:
1. APPROVE an agreement to pay Duncan Solutions for parking citation processing services, on a month-to-month basis, until a new contract for this service is approved.
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the agreement, following approval as to form by the City Attorney.

1. ACCEPT the $17,000.00 grant from the South Bay Center for Counseling for the Prevention Initiative Demonstration Project.
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Prevention Initiative Demonstration Project contract following approval as to form by the City Attorney.

1. DIRECT staff to install a disabled person parking space (blue curb and sign) at 900 East Diamondale Drive.
