Managing Anger and Behavior  [ PDF Flyer]
Ages 12-17
The City of Carson's "Anger Management for Teens" program is a court-approved, 9 hour/six week, program that focuses on learning behavioral skills to manage anger from a life skill's perspective. This class meets once a week for the six-week series.
  • Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
  • Resident: $30.00    Nonresident: $40.00
  • Pre-registration is required

School-based Gang Prevention [ No Flyer]
Ages 10 - 12
We also teach a school-based gang prevention program titled: “Street Smart” in several Carson Middle Schools (during school hours). Call the Youth Officer listed below if you are interested in this school program.  
  • Youth to recognize gang activity and its negative impact on them and society
  • Youth to develop gang resistance skills
  • Youth to not become involved in gang activity
