DW3 to Lead Carson’s White Linen Affair Concert Line-up on July 22

DW3, one of the most enthusiastic, smooth, new sounding bands in Los Angeles, will bring their high energy R&B Jazz and Latin Soul band to life this July 22nd to Carson. Limited VIP seating and general admission tickets are left for sale. VIP admission is $50 and general admission is $25.

The fundraising concert will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Carson Center located at 801 E. Carson Street in Carson. Other performers include Nysa Shenay, Ashley Jemison, Al Dipmore, and DJ Alcatraz. To purchase tickets, please call Recreation and Human Services at (310) 847-3570.

DW3 is comprised of outstanding musicians which consist of Keyboards, Percussions, Drums, Bass and Guitar. For the last 3 years, DW3 has had the pleasure of performing on the Warren Hill, Wayman Tisdale and Dave Koz Jazz Cruises. They performed on shows like City of Lights Jazz Fest, Newport Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Fest, BB Kings, Vault 30 and recently on the Annual Taste of Soul Festival in Los Angeles to name a few. Currently the group just finished its third album “On the Floor” produced by Two Time Grammy Award Winner Paul Brown and Marcus Miller.

Aside from non-stop music entertainment, the outdoor concert will also feature a wide variety of food, crafts and display booths.

This summer concert is the first spearheaded event by the 50th Anniversary Committee to raise funds for the numerous scheduled celebrations in the upcoming 50th Anniversary year in 2018. Celebrations include participate of a float representing the Carson community in the 2018 Pasadena Rose Parade.
