AquaticsThe City of Carson operates four aquatic facilities during the summer months from June through September: Carson Pool, Scott Pool, Dominguez Aquatic Center, and Hemingway Aquatic Center. All pools are heated and offer full locker room facilities, including hot showers. ClassesAmerican Red Cross-certified instructors teach swim lesson for patrons from ages six months to adult. Get in the team spirit by joining the Tigershark swim team, Water Polo, Dive Team, and Synchronized Swimming. The Junior Lifeguard and Mini Guard program provides fitness and safety training and can help prepare participants for future employment as lifeguards.
