City of Carson Youth Conference SWAG (Students with Awesome Goals)

Who: Youth between 12-17 years of age

The City of Carson Youth Conference is an annual project of the City’s Youth Commission. The conference is free and open to youth 12-17 years of age. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. This year’s conference theme: “Students with Awesome Goals“ presents a variety of workshops and panel discussions that include topics such as college preparedness, career workshops, health & fitness, bullying prevention, and much more. Lunch is provided. There will be entertainment, raffle, and prizes.

“Each one of our youth represents an opportunity for the betterment of our community. It is during the youth conference that we celebrate our “Unlimited Future“ – our youth. We hope this conference will motivate them to realize the inner power they have to achieve their future goals and aspirations,“ said City of Carson Mayor Albert Robles.
