Carson Successor Agency Share Print Effective February 1, 2012, all Redevelopment Agencies in the state of California were dissolved per AB 26. The dissolution process was further clarified by AB 1484. The legislation allowed for the creation of successor agencies to unwind and administer the enforceable obligations of former redevelopment agencies. The Carson City Council passed a resolution where the Carson Successor Agency was created to serve as the successor to the Carson Redevelopment Agency. A resolution was also passed to elect the Carson Housing Authority as successor agency in charge of the management of the housing assets of the former Carson Redevelopment Agency.
