The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and improvements of City facilities and infrastructure. Public Works provides the community of Carson with a sustainable, safe, clean, and healthy environment through efficient maintenance and management of municipal infrastructure. It also provides the City with a wide variety of services including sidewalk repairs, storm drains, potholes, street markings, street signs, debris removal, tree trimming, and facilities. The City of Carson uses "iWorQ Service Request" application for service requests

Download the Service Request Application:
Step 1: Navigate to your iOS Apple store or your Android store and search: "iWorQ"
Step 2: Select "iWorQ Service Request" and download
Step 3: After the Download finishes, open the app and type in your City's Agency Code: Car01
Step 4: Create an Account or Continue as Guest
Step 5: Fill out all of the required information about your request and press Submit
Step 6: Check back on your status by opening up the application and selecting "View Requests" to see responses from the city and a status update

The Los Angeles County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program (HHW) offers Los Angeles County Residents a legal and cost-free way to dispose of unwanted household chemicals that cannot be disposed of in regular trash bins.
