Candidate Filing Period
The candidate filing period for the upcoming election will begin on July 15, 2024 and end on August 9, 2024 at 5 PM. During this time, candidates can file for the following offices:
Mayor (Term of four years)
Member of the City Council, District One (Term of four years)
Member of the City Council, District Three (Term of four years)

To retrieve your paperwork for filing, please visit the City Clerk's office during the specified filing dates above. The office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am-6pm. We will also be open for the last day of filing, August 9th, 2024 from 8am-5pm.

It is a requirement to live within the district which you are filing for candidacy. To confirm your district, please visit District Information (carson.ca.us).
