Emergency Services Share Print Alert SouthBay The City of Carson is a proud member of Alert SouthBay, a regional program that unites over a dozen cities in the South Bay to provide one integrated mass notification system throughout our area. This system will be used to alert and warn communities of disasters and other major emergencies via SMS, email, mobile phone, and landline phone. To register for Alert SouthBay, simply text ALERTSB to 888777. Residents can also download the Everbridge App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store or they may register their information online via the Alert SouthBay portal. Register for Alert SouthBay Beach Cities CAER Carson also belongs to the Beach Cities Community Awareness and Emergency Response (CAER) organization. Beach Cities CAER combines the efforts of local officials, schools, industrial partners, and emergency responders to work together to get our community safe and prepared for industrial emergencies. In the event of an airborne hazardous material release or other industrial emergency, you may be asked to "Shelter in Place" for your safety.
