Caregiver Support Group - This group is open to anyone taking care of a family member or friend, it is not directed at professional caregivers. The group meets at the Juanita Millender McDonald Community Center at Carson on Tuesdays at 11:30am-12:30pm.

Bereavement Support Group - This unique group is offered to adults of all ages who are experiencing grief following the death of a loved one. The group meets on a need be basis for 11-week ongoing sessions on Wednesdays at 10 AM throughout the year.

Housing Rights Clinic - This program is designed to actively support and promote fair housing through education and advocacy to allow individuals the opportunity to secure the housing they desire and can afford, without discrimination based on their race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, familial status, disability, ancestry, age, source of income, or other characteristics protected by law. Clinics are held the 1st Thursday and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Nutrition Program - The program operates Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. through the Carson/Torrance YMCA. This program serves a variety of healthy, hot and nutritious lunches. Guests enjoy a meal as well as warm conversation and fellowship. Meals on Wheels are also available. For more information, please contact Kimberly Cortado at (310) 835-0212, ext. 1487

Food Bank - The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank invites seniors 60 years of age or older to participate in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. Qualifying seniors receive a free food kit once a month.
