City of Carson Fam Fest Event Features Various Forms of Live Entertainment

The City of Carson is hosting Fam Fest on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson Park. All ages are welcome, and entry is free.

Stevenson Park is a 13-acre site located at 17400 Lysander Drive, Carson, CA 90746. The day will feature live music, food, vendor, and an adventure zone for kids. This event will be emceed by KJLH 102.3 Radio’s Aundrae Russell.

Fam Fest’s diverse stage will feature live music provided by MAJOR, DW3, Soul Seekers, Norman Hutchins, J. Kingdom aka Pastor Fisher, SHARI, Markees Williams and more. MAJOR, with an impact as strong as his name, debuted with his now platinum song “Why I Love You” considered an unforgettable soundtrack for milestone moments by Stevie Wonder. DW3 brings a fusion of Old School Funk, Jazz, R&B with Latin influences for a live performance you don’t want to miss. Soul Seekers, a Los Angeles based Billboard charting Gospel group consisting of ten members all with prior experience in the gospel music industry.

There are VIP cabanas available by reservation at $850 each. Each cabana seats 10 people and includes food for 10. The reservation deadline ends on August 19, 2023.

“Fam Fest is an event for the entire Carson family. The children will have fun at the adventure zone while others enjoy a very dynamic lineup. Whether you bring a chair or reserve a cabana for a VIP Experience, this event is for everyone,” said Carson Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes.
