New Voting Experience(VSAP)

The Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) was developed by the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) to address an aging voting system and an increasingly large and complex electorate. Over 5,000 voters in Los Angeles County, from all walks of life, participated in focus groups and research activities that helped create the optimal voting experience. VSAP will introduce many new features and components that provide greater accessibility, convenience and time to voting.

The new system makes it easy for voters with a full range of types of disabilities and voters with limited English proficiency to cast a ballot. The system supports plain language and is intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to all, in order to minimize and easily identify voter errors. It also provides all voters the ability to easily correct any errors that appear on their ballot prior to casting their ballot.
