The City of Carson Will Host a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day for the Community

WHAT:
The City of Carson is hosting this event in partnership with the Carson Sheriff’s Station, the Drug Enforcement Administration Los Angeles Division, and AADAP/CISAAP (Asian American Drug Abuse Program/ Carson Initiative for Substance Abuse Awareness and Prevention).

This event takes place during our 16th Annual Red Ribbon Week for Substance Abuse Prevention and Awareness. The community is encouraged to participate in the city’s effort to create a safe environment that is drug-free and non-conducive to prescription misuse and abuse.

Unused or expired medication can be turned in for safe disposal. Sharps and liquids will not be accepted.
