Selected applicants will be required to complete the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS)Coaches Certification Program, complete a free online Concussion Awareness Course, sign a “NAYS Code of Ethics for Coaches” pledge and agree to be Live Scanned (Finger Printed). Coaches Certification Program This certification program covers several areas such as the psychology of coaching youth sports, maximizing athletic performance, first aid and safety, how to organize a fun and interesting practice and tips on teaching sports techniques. Coaches are required to complete an exam and sign a Code of Ethics Pledge. Contact your local park for more information.
