The Building Official will review permitted work for compliance with the requirements of the Building Code, the approved plan and specifications, and that the work matches the permit’s scope of work. Generally, all work will need to be inspected before being finished over. A project is complete once the work covered by the permit has passed the final inspection. All construction or work for which a permit is required shall be subject to inspection by the Building Official and shall remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved by the Building Official. Plans and specifications, permits, and when provided the inspection record card shall be available at the job site.
